The reason we’d like to see this phone transition from Android Marshmallow to Android Nougat is it may fix the phone’s biggest battery hog: phone idle time. Its screen isn’t the big battery life concern. Our official battery life test showed that it burned through 14% of its battery running a looped 90 minute HD video, leaving us with 86% left. That’s why it was still alive at the day-and-a-half mark.
